- 20th Sept - Rules approved and NZDF applies to become Incorporation.
- 9th Oct - NZDF Incorporation approved.

- April 12th - South Island drillers attend meeting Wellington VAirport conference rooms.
- June - First AGM of official NZDF held in Napier.
